A man has died after being seriously assaulted in a home in Winnipeg's West End neighbourhood.
Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of Agnes Street at 4:20 p.m. Friday.
An unresponsive man later determined to be Russel Gibeault was located who was suffering from injuries from an assault.
The victim, 30, was taken to hospital where he died.
Police are investigating the incident as a homicide. Anyone with information is asked to call WPS at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers.
