Officers are looking for a 27-year-old man in relation to the death of a man in Wolseley.

The Winnipeg Police Service is looking for Issa Musa. There is a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Second Degree Murder for the man.

musaMusa is Black, 5’10” tall, approximately 162 lbs in weight, and has a medium build. He has brown eyes and black hair. Police say he is known to have tattoos on both forearms. (WPS/Supplied)

They are asking anyone who spots Musa to immediately call 911 and to not approach him.

Authorities are investigating the homicide of a 44-year-old Winnipegger.

On Thursday afternoon, officers were alerted that a man had been assaulted inside of a home in Wolseley. Arriving at 1:26 p.m., officers located the 44-year-old victim and began providing emergency first aid and CPR. 

He was immediate transported to the hospital in critical condition. The victim later died in hospital due to his injuries.

Officers remained at the scene throughout Friday morning.

An earlier release said the time officers arrived at the scene was 3:26 p.m. This has since been corrected.
