"When it comes to success in life, I measure it based on how much I positively impact the lives of people around me," says Cam MacDonald.

MacDonald is the Co-Director of Life's Vision. His passion for giving value to all life stems from his birth.

"I was born at 29 weeks gestation, the first of two twins born that day. I, therefore, deal with Cerebral Palsy as a result," he says.

CP means that doing everyday activities are either harder or impossible for MacDonald.

"I am unable to walk, write, or drive, and it takes me longer to do just about everything," he says.

However, it hasn't stifled Macdonald's ability to learn or work.

"I am extremely thankful for the many great opportunities that I have been given, not only in regards to being alive but also the fact that I can reach my God-given potential."

MacDonald has graduated from Canadian Mennonite University and has a passion for water sports.

"I have represented Canada twice on the International stage, including being part of Team Canada at the 2014 ParaPan-Pacific Swim Championships where I won a bronze medal."

MacDonald's success has created a drive to protect all life, leading him to work at Life's Vision after college.

"I believe that my story is a testament to the fact that every life has the potential to positively impact our society, no matter what challenges they face," says MacDonald. "For this reason, I champion the pro-life principles that strive to protect the potential of every human life from when it begins at conception until the very end."

This year, as with many other events, their annual fall banquet will be done virtually. They have aptly titled it a Bubble Banquet and it will be on November 21 at 7:00 pm.

"We will be doing a zoom call for those who register, and we'll be streaming it on Facebook as well."

The banquet will include an update on everything Life's Vision did this year during the pandemic, as well as a keynote speaker, Jason Evert. He is the founder of The Chastity Project, alongside his wife, among many other titles.

"He'll talk for about 45 minutes about parenting for purity. Teaching parents how to talk to their kids about sex and combat our sexualized culture. We're excited for him to share God's wisdom about how to talk and equip kids with issues they're facing today."
