RCMP are searching for two men after a victim was shot inside of a wooden hunting blind.

While sitting in the hunting blind Wednesday morning, RCMP says one person was shot and sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting occurred in a field across from Provincial Road 11 East, east of Malonton, Manitoba. Malonton is an hour's drive from Winnipeg.

RCMP officers say the 45-year-old male victim and a 41-year-old man were looking onto the field, preparing to hunt and watching a deer inside the hunting blind.

While inside the blind, they noticed what they believe was an older model white Chevrolet pickup truck pull up and two men exit. The men, clad in orange, shot at the deer and at this time a bullet entered the blind, striking the 45-year-old around approximately 7:20 a.m.
