A man convicted of stabbing a group home manager to death in Winnipeg has been sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 15 years.
The 23-year-old man sentenced was found guilty of second-degree murder last fall following a jury trial.
Ricardo Hibi was killed on Dec. 17, 2018, after opening the door to the group home he operated.
The Crown never presented a motive for the killing to the jury.
