More than half of all Tuesday's new COVID-19 cases are in people who received one of more doses of the vaccine, while almost all of the active hospitalizations are people who are not fully vaccinated.

There are 102 new COVD-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 61,038. The current five-day test rate in Manitoba is 3.8 per cent.

Out of the new cases, 45 are in people who are fully vaccinated, 10 in those who are partially vaccinated, and 47 people who are not vaccinated.

There are 845 active cases of the virus.

There are 94 people in the hospital with 59 of those being active cases. Out of the active cases, 81 per cent of patients are not vaccinaed 12 per cent are fully vaccinated, and seven per cent are partially vaccinated.

In intensive care, there are 18 patients, with 13 of those cases being active. Seventy-seven per cent of these active cases are in people who are unvaccinated, eight per cent of people are fully vaccinated, and 15 per cent are partially vaccinated. 

The number of deaths remains stable at 1,213 deaths.
