Two more people have died of COVID-19 as of Thursday morning.

There are 107 new COVID-19 cases as of Thursday morning, bringing the total number of cases to 61,900.

New cases include:

  • 45 in Northern Health  24 not fully vaccinated
  • 23 in Southern Health 20 not fully vaccinated
  • 21 in Winnipeg 13 not fully vaccinated
  • 10 in Prairie Mountain  six not fully vaccinated
  • eight in Interlake-Eastern with five not fully vaccinated

 

Out of Thursday's new cases, 60 people are not vaccinated, 39 are fully vaccinated, and eight people are partially vaccinated.

Manitoba's test rate is 3.8 per cent. The province says 59,712 people have recovered.

In the hospital, there are 93 people, with 59 of those people having active COVID-19 cases. Out of the active cases, 66 per cent are not vaccinated, 14 per cent are partially vaccinated, and 20 per cent are fully vaccinated.

In intensive care, there are 17 people, with 12 of those people having active cases. OUt of the active cases, three-quarters are not vaccinated, 17 per cent are fully vaccinated, and eight per cent are partially vaccinated.

The total number of deaths grows by two people to 1,226. This includes a male in his 40s from the Southern Health-Santé Sud health region and a female in her 50s from the Northern health region. Both had been announced as cases Thursday.
