Jennifer Jones and her 2005-2020 teams are Manitoba’s Most Notable Curling Team.

Jones skipped teams that won six national championships, a pair of world titles as well as the 2014 Olympic gold medal in Sochi during that time frame.

"It was quite an honour," says Jill Officer, who played second for Jones until retiring after their 2018 world championship victory, "and a little bit of a surprise to be honest ... it was nice to see this recognition. It kind of had me reflect on my time with Team Jones and how big of a part of my life it was. And it's just always nice to be recognized for something that you were involved in that was so great and had such a great impact on other people."

Don Duguid’s 1970 & 1971 world championship teams were second in the rankings that were determined by Manitoba curlers, media, volunteers and fans.

The Manitoba Curling Hall of Fame & Museum’s People’s Choice Most Notable Fundraising campaign ran from the middle of October until early December and raised $8,351.

Gordon Hudson’s 1928 & 1929 teams, our province’s first back-to-back Brier champions were named the People’s Choice Most Notable Team.
