Mass of Resurrection Date: February 24, 2024 
Marcel Collette, 96, of St. Malo passed away Saturday, February 17th at Rest Haven Personal Care Home. He is survived by his wife Florence, 10 children and their families. He was predeceased by 2 great-grandchildren and 4 siblings. 
Cremation has taken place.  
The Mass of Resurrection service for Marcel Collette will be held Saturday, February 24th at 10:15am at St. Malo Church with ash interment at St. Malo Cemetery at a later date. 
Donations may be made to Chalet Malouin, 14 St. Hilaire Street, St. Malo  R0A 1T0.

It is with great sadness that we must say goodbye to our dear and precious father Marcel Collette. He was born in Ste. Elizabeth Manitoba on March 11, 1927, and left us February 17, 2024, at the Rest Haven Personal Care Home at the age of 96. He left us peacefully surrounded with his loving family and his wife of 73 and a half years Florence (nee Fillion). He will forever be missed by his pride and joy of his 10 children and their families, Monique (Ray Mayner), Leon, Rachelle (Norbert Tessier), Norbert (Gisele), Gaby (Diane), Helene (Raymond Croteau), David (Christine), Andre, Herve (Dania), and Reynald (Ralph) (Kristine).

He also leaves behind his 24 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren with one on the way; sister Gisele (Allan Labossiere); in-laws
Yvon Fillion, Gilberte Fillion, Fernande Damphousse, Denise Collette, Gisele Collette and Francoise Compagna. He was predeceased by two great-grandchildren, Jessica, and Chloe; his parents Max Collette in 1981, and his mother Cecile in 1987; his four siblings, brothers Roland and sister-in-law Viviane; Roger and sister-in-law Marthe;
Antonio and Gilles; brother-in-law Sylvio Fillion; sister-in-law Lucille Morin; brother-in-law Cyprien Morin; sister-inlaw Anita Pelland; brother-in-law Adrien Pelland; sister-in-law soeur Simone Fillion; brother-in-law Paul Damphousse; sister-in-law Celine Parent; brother-in-law Lionel Parent, as well as sister-in-law Claire Fillion. 

Cremation has taken place. A catholic mass will be held at St. Malo Church on Saturday February 24, 2024, with prayers at 10:15 a.m., followed by eulogy, and power point presentation and officiated by Father Paul Ngyyen Hung Tuan.
