Manitoba RCMP is investigating the discovery of what appears to be a human bone, currently, no criminal activity is suspected.

On Wednesday, September 28, at approximately 8:55 a.m., Fisher Branch RCMP received a report of someone walking near the shore of Jackhead Beach when they found a human bone. 

After consulting a Forensic Anthropologist, officers can confirm the bone is consistent with human remains.

The RCMP does not have evidence that any criminal activity is related to the discovery of the bone, but the investigation is ongoing while the remains are sent for further testing.
