Munroe Avenue closing Monday through Sept. 17

A stretch of roadway in the Munroe West area is closing for next several months.

Westbound Monroe Avenue, between Henderson Highway and Watt Street, will close on Monday, May 3 at 7 a.m.

The road will not reopen until 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17.

The City of Winnipeg asks that motorists allow additional travel time when planning this road as part of their route over the next four months and suggests using alternate routes.

One lane of eastbound traffic and pedestrian access will remain open throughout construction.
