Filmmaker Tim Mahoney says he had been searching for "almost 20 years" to find evidence of the Biblical miracle story.

Red Sea Miracle is trying to prove that Moses parted the Red Sea in Exodus.

In an attempt to scientifically prove the event, a team is first looking at current and historical geography to find the exact location of the miracle.

"It is possible to estimate that it took place in close proximity to Egypt," a geographer from the movie's trailer says.

The movie is also looking at how many people crossed the sea and trying to determine how many Israelites were present.

Red Sea Miracle's trailer says "archeology cannot prove or disprove a miracle."

The movie claims it is exploring God's "miraculous saving power" and will be premiered in two parts with Fathom Events, a cinema company in the United States, tomorrow and later in the spring in select American theatres.
