Ten million shoeboxes are making an impact on children's lives around the world due to Operation Christmas Child (OCC).

Since 1993 OCC has been donating shoeboxes to children in need, and in 2019 well over ten million shoeboxes were packed.

OCC works to help underprivileged communities year-round by aiding them with natural disasters. Shoeboxes are one way OCC connects with communities and shares the Gospel.

Year-round, families, and individuals from Canada, Australia, and the United States pack a shoebox filled with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and more. Those packing the shoeboxes are also encouraged to pray for whoever receives their gift.

In 2018, they were able to send out eight million shoeboxes, meaning this year brought in roughly a two million shoebox increase.
