Health officials in Manitoba say a letter to parents has been sent about a possible exposure to COVID-19 at a Winnipeg high school.

The province says that based on the public health investigation, the exposure at Gordon Bell High School was assessed to be low risk.

It says the infection was not acquired at school and no one is required to self-isolate.

The school has closed off areas used by the infected person and will not use them until after they've been cleaned and disinfected.
