Raymond Koh, Pastor of Evangelical Free Church of Malaysia, was abducted in broad daylight in February of 2017 and remains missing to this day.

Video footage captured three black SUV's surrounding Koh's car. Then, only 42 seconds later, after masked men approached his vehicle and took over, they were gone. Koh hasn't been seen or heard from since.

According to an article written by CBN News, the Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) launched the petition, ReleaseRaymond.com, in 2019 to press the government of Malaysia and its top police commander for an explanation of what happened to the pastor.

Since the petition was created it received 65,000 signatures from people around the world. Yet no arrests have been made and no explanation has been given, which means his wife and two children are left to wonder if Koh is still alive or safe.

Before the abduction Koh had been threatened. He had previously received a box of bullets in the mail, warning him to stop his ministry work.

Malaysia's Human Rights Commission believes that Koh was abducted by a special police unit for attempting to convert Muslims to Christianity.

The main religion in Malaysia is Islam, however, Christians, Buddhists, and Hindus also live in the country. Leaving the Muslim faith is considered both a sin and a crime by Islamic authorities.
