Two Flin Flon residents are in custody after a search warrant found the pair in possession of drug trafficking equipment.

Guns, knives, and other weapons are now being held by police after a search of a Flin Flon home. On Saturday, officers with Flin Flon RCMP, the RCMP Emergency Response Team, Cranberry Portage RCMP, and Creighton RCMP executed a search warrant at a home.

When the group arrived, they found five firearms, including a sawed-off shotgun and two handguns with readily accessible ammunition, an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency, six grams of cocaine and other items, taking them into evidence.

A 51-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man are facing Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime over $5000, and multiple firearms offences. The two are currently in custody. A third person, a 41-year-old woman, was at the scene but was not charged.
