The Winnipeg Police Service says a second man is facing injuries following a Monday-night incident.

On Monday at 6:45 p.m., officers with the WPS's General Patrol Unit were called to a residence in the 300 block of Selkirk Avenue. Police say there was a report of a man being shot.

When arriving, police found a man in his 20s suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he now remains in stable condition.

Later, police located a second man, also suffering from injuries. He had not been shot but police believe he was injured during the same incident where the first victim was shot. He was sent to the hospital in unstable condition where he remains. He is now in stable condition.

The WPS says no arrests have been made.
