The Winnipeg Police Service is sharing more information regarding a Wednesday-morning homicide.

Police now say the body found on Ellice Avenue is of a 20-year-old man from Winnipeg.

The Winnipeg Police Service is releasing some details regarding a Wednesday morning homicide.

Police say when investigating a call at 4:45 a.m. regarding an injured person in the 600 block of Ellice Avenue, they found a deceased man.

The Homicide Unit is now investigating. They are asking those with information to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
