The Winnipeg Police Service says a street will remain closed until at least early Thursday morning following a serious collision.

The collision occurred Wednesday evening on Keewatin Street around Pacific Avenue.

Police have closed northbound Keewatin between Roy and Alexander. They say they expect the closure to remain in place until at least 1 a.m. Thursday while they continue to investigate.

Winnipeg police are investigating a serious collision involving two vehicles. Northbound Keewatin between Roy and Alexander will be closed for a few hours.

At least two heavily damaged vehicles can be seen at the intersection.

There is no word on injuries at this time.
