"For the first time in two and a half months, we were finally able to hold Levi!" shares the excited parents from Grunthal, Man.

Just one week ago, parents Sonja and Jayden Guenther were asking for listeners prayers as they found out their baby boy had an infection in his main line. Previous to this, Levi was doing well, all things considered.

He and his twin brother were born at only 23.5 weeks gestation in Toronto, and weighed just over one pound each. Since that time, Lucas developed a brain bleed and passed away in early May.

For baby Levi, and his parents, it has been a roller coaster of emotion as he has been fighting for his life since he was born this April.

However, once the infection from his main line was healed, the parents received some uplifting news. Jayden shares, ``We couldn’t be more exited as parents to finally hold our son, and see him do so well again.``

When the couple found out they were pregnant with identical twins with TTTS (twin to twin transfusion syndrome), they understood Toronto would be the best place for any complications.

Their little boy has been hooked up to many tubes since arriving, but it was a joyful time when they both were able to touch and hold their baby.

With the many complications, the Guenther`s baby isn`t out of the woods just yet, but this is a step in the right direction to coming home.

Jayden shares, ``Now he’s still in the NICU and as we all know by now things can change over night so we just ask for continuous prayer and that he gets even better and stronger. Thank you all!``
