An urgent call for prayer has gone out following the admission of a Hillsong worship leader to hospital.

On Sunday morning, Chelsea Taylor was leading worship as usual with the team at Hillsong's flagship "Hills" Campus in Sydney, Australia, when she became unwell. She was then taken to hospital in critical condition, CBN News reports.

It is reported that Taylor suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and is now being cared for in ICU.

Hillsong United member Matty Crocker was shocked to learn of his fellow worship leader's condition.

“I am actually speechless right now,” Crocker wrote online. “We were leading worship together yesterday morning and then we both walked off seperate (sic) sides of the stage. Halfway through the message I got a text saying you wouldn’t be up there with us when we go back up. I thought you had fainted and that was it. I only found out in the last few hours how serious it was…”

I am actually speechless right now... @Chelsealeetaylor we were leading worship together yesterday morning and then we both walked off seperate sides of the stage. Halfway through the message I got a text saying you wouldn’t be up there with us when we go back up. I thought u had fainted and that was it. I only found out in the last few hours how serious it was... If u read this at all, know that the Crocker’s are praying with and for you. Complete healing, complete peace, complete rest... that you would know and sense His presence like never before... “Be still, and know that I am God”...psalm 46:10

Crocker also offered Psalm 46:10, "Be still, and know that I am God."

Ben Lounsbury, a friend of Taylor's, gave more information on the worship leader's condition. He shared that the singer had undergone a nine-hour surgery to treat the ruptured aneurysm.

"Today, an immeasurable Incense of prayer has risen on her behalf, mine included, for her healing, and the glory of our Mighty God," Lounsbury shared.

Chelsea was one of the first people I met in Sydney when I lived there. I was a stranger, and she welcomed me into her home, purposed to connect with Jesus, and a group of people that also loved Jesus. Today, an immeasurable Incense of prayer has risen on her behalf, mine included, for her healing, and the glory of our Mighty God. The photo on bottom is Chelsea singing/praising/worshipping and pointing thousands of people to Jesus - EDIT: Chelsea was later rushed to the hospital the same day with a ruptured aneurysm, undergoing 9 hr brain surgery. The photo on top, is hundreds, and remotely - thousands of people stretching towards the same Jesus, worthy of praise, crying out on behalf of Chelsea. Recovery underway

Cass Langton, lead creative pastor at Hillsong, shared news of Taylor's recovery, already underway.

As of last night, Taylor had been taken off of life support and was "talking and trying to get out of bed." While he mentioned that the doctor's "aren't saying anything," Langton is already calling Taylor's survival a miracle.
