The Providence Junior Pilots captured silver medals in the 14U boys division at the 2017 Volleyball Manitoba Provincial Championships this past weekend in Winnipeg.

The Pilots finished first in their pool after the round robin.

They defeated 204 Gold 18-25, 25-22, 15-13 in the quarterfinals and then beat WinMan Raiders 9-25, 25-14, 21-19 in the semifinals.

The WinMan Spartans swept the Pilots 25-21, 25-18 in the gold medal game.

The Providence Junior Pilots Blue finished 8th and the Junior Pilots Grey were 29th at the 14U girls championship in Winnipeg.

The Junior Pilots finished 5th at the 17U boys championship and 4th at the 18U boys championship in Steinbach.

The Junior Pilots were 13th at the 13U girls championship in Winnipeg two weeks ago.

The 15U & 16U girls championships take place this weekend in Winnipeg.

The 15U boys championship will be held in Brandon and the 16U boys championship will take place in Steinbach.
