Three players from Providence College will he heading to the Beach Soccer Championship in the Bahamas.

Jepthe Francois, Jameslee Louis, and Herby Magny are in Nassau to represent Turks and Caicos at the 2017 CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship. The tournament serves as qualification for the upcoming Beach Soccer World Cup in April and May.

"I think it's pretty awesome," said Joey Passi, who is in his first year as soccer coach at Providence. "These are three guys that joined the team a while back...and they are really good guys to have on the team."

Magny already has experience in this tournament, as he participated back in the 2015 CONCACAF tournament for Turks and Caicos. This will be Francois and Louis' debut at the championship.

Their first game will be this coming Tuesday against El Salvador, and they will also face Costa Rica and Panama next week in group action.
