Parents who have concerns with the province's school plans have the opportunity to voice their opinions this week.

As the province rolls out Stage Two of its Welcoming Our Students Back - Restoring Safe Schools plan, they are inviting parents to have their say.

Education Minister Kalvin Goertzen and Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Brent Roussin will be hosting a telephone town hall on Tuesday, August 18 at 6:45 p.m.

The officials will be taking questions and feedback as part of their Welcoming Our Students Back plan.

Participants are asked to register online for the town hall. Those wanting to submit questions can also do so on the same webpage.

The next step to Welcoming Our Students Back - Restoring Safe Schools was announced by Goertzen and Roussin on Thursday. The plan included "strongly recommending" mask use for older students and a plan for schools if a student contracts COVID-19.
