Last week 41 tickets were issued to Manitobans in relation to gatherings in private residences.

Close to $1 million in COVID-19 compliance tickets have been issued since April, totalling $984,000. 

From December 28 to January 3, 279 warnings and 55 tickets were issued. Of the 55 tickets, 41 of those were issued for gathering in private residences, and eight other personal charges. Six tickets were issued for failure to wear a mask in indoor public places. No tickets were issued to businesses.

"Manitobans are reminded that public health orders remain in effect and must be followed to reduce the spread of COVID-19," the province says in a statement.
