There are 34 more people in the hospital with COVID-19 as of Thursday morning.

There are 665 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, with 586 of those people having active cases of the virus.

There are 50 people in intensive care, with 44 of those patients having active cases. The number of ICU cases has not changed since Wednesday. 

Hospitalizations by health region include:

  • 454 cases from Winnipeg, 414 active
  • 64 cases from Prairie Mountain, 55 active
  • 58 cases from Southern, 38 active
  • 45 cases from Northern, 41 active
  • 44 cases from Interlake-Eastern, 28 active

 

There are 1,485 deaths, seven more deaths since Wednesday.

 

New cases

There are 851 confirmed COVID-19 cases being recorded. This does not include self-administered rapid tests. There is a total of 113,196 recorded cases.

New cases by health region include:

  • 403 in Winnipeg
  • 141 in Interlake-Eastern
  • 137 in Northern
  • 96 in Prairie Mountain
  • 74 in Southern

 

There are 35,742 active cases with 75,969 recoveries.

Manitoba's test rate is 33.2 per cent.
