The EP album Dawn by Rebecca St.James is now available, including six worship-forward songs.

Fans of St. James haven't heard new music in almost a decade, but now the artist is back to singing, with another baby on the way.

"If you’re in a winter season, I am so excited to share these songs with you, and I pray they’ll give you hope for a ‘spring’ season and a new 'Dawn'," says St. James on a recent Facebook post.

This new season of hers with a new album and another baby on the way was precluded by what St. James calls her "winter" season.

She experienced two miscarriages after the birth of her first daughter. Her and her husband, Jacob Fink, now have two daughters, and are expecting their first son later this year.

The pain of the miscarriages, along with other difficult circumstances is where the music on the new album stems from.

She recently signed with Bethel Music. Two of the new songs feature other Bethel Music artists, including Brandon Lake and Josh Baldwin.

The title track "Dawn" is truly special to St. James, as she recorded it with her brother Luke Smallbone, a co-lead singer from the band For King & Country.

She says, "I had the joy of writing and recording "Dawn" with my brother Luke. Praying that it encourages you in this season!"
