The past couple of years have been difficult for many as we deal with the ongoing pandemic.

And although it can be difficult to seek out the goodness in the world, Alexandra Kuykendall, a popular speaker, writer and national network director for Project 127, reminds us that everything is going to be okay, that God is still at work, even in small ways. She says God is still in control and still offers us good gifts. We just have to know where to look for them.

"How do we still believe that God is at work? I believe that Philippians 4:8 gives us a really good framework on what specifically to look for," says Alexandra. "And when we start to think about them, we're starting to identify them. And then when we start to identify them, we can join God where we see evidence of his work."

Kuykendall says the world will continue to change, but God's goodness will not.

"The good news is, even when our circumstances change, God does not. He is still in control."

In her new book, Seeking out Goodness: Finding the Ture and Beautiful All Around You, Alexandra uses personal stories and clear biblical insight to help us see God at work right now, right in our midst, no matter how messy life feels.

She helps us appreciate other people even when we disagree with them, celebrate the goodness in others when we find it, and hope for a brighter tomorrow even as we celebrate the goodness we receive today.

Today on Connections, Alexandra helps us to seek out the good and find the true and beautiful that surrounds us.
