A serious crash involving a pedestrian shut down a couple of busy downtown streets for one and a half hours Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Broadway and Carlton around 6:00 a.m.
Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) had closed off Carlton Street between York Avenue and Assiniboine Drive, and Westbound Broadway between Hargrave Street and Edmonton Street to investigate a collision between a truck and pedestrian.
One man was taken to hospital in unstable condition. He has been upgraded to stable condition.
WPS reopened the roads around 7:30 Wednesday morning.
