Environment Canada says that Winnipeg is in the clear after a large storm system moved through Monday morning.

The system arrived quickly and produced heavy winds and rain for some areas.
A mix of sun and cloud is forecast for later this morning and early afternoon.
However, more rain and thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon.
Much of southern Manitoba was affected by the storm system Monday morning. Manitoba Hydro says that currently there are nearly 8,000 customers without power.
