This month's ONE Worship Night has a special twist planned to show the solidarity of the Church in Manitoba.

Rich Hale is the worship pastor at Calvary Temple, and one of the organizers of the special worship nights. He says that since beginning in February of 2017, these nights have already turned into something special.

"We were just going on a lot of faith, and God has provided"

"It's been awesome . . . when we started, to be honest, we had no idea what to expect. We were just going on a lot of faith, and God has provided! We're just so pleased with how things have turned out, and people have responded well. We're excited for what God is doing in our city."

One of the results has been not just people from multiple churches in Winnipeg showing up to worship together, but that people from all over Manitoba have been coming. "We've heard from people from Lac du Bonnet, and people are coming in from Morden, Winkler, and Carman," Hale says.

This month will see a special choir take the stage for ONE Worship, which will be the last one before September break.

"We're putting a choir together of different worship leaders from the city," saying that "this was something we've wanted to do since before the nights even began. It's going to be so fun just to be together on that stage. It will be a real sign of unity, you know? Just to have a group of people from different churches on the stage, worshipping together, and leading our city in worship in that way."

The June event for ONE Worship takes place this Saturday, June 24, 7:00 p.m. at Calvary Temple.
