The sun is out and the water is on at all spray pads across the city so get out there and have some fun.

“Winnipeg has 21 spray pads locations across the city, making them easily accessible for all residents,” said Sherri Rollins, Chair of the Standing Policy Committee on Protection, Community Services and Parks in a recent press release.

“People of all ages can enjoy these family-friendly amenities throughout the summer months.”

These Spray pads are open from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., every day of the week from May 25 - September 2, 2019.

Safety is very important at these splash pads as they are unsupervised. The city recommends that kids 12 years old or younger are recommended to be supervised by a parent or guardian.  

There are also rules at these splash pads that are important to follow and look out for.

These rules include:

  • Not glass or food at the spray pad.
  • No climbing on the spray features.
  • Anyone with a communicable disease or any sores that could be transmitted cannot use the space.
  • No animals,  however, service animals are allowed.
  • Bicycles, skateboards, scooters and roller blades are not allowed.
  • Please do not smoke within 30 m.
  • Water shoes are recommended.
  • Do not drink from the spray features.
