It was church in the streets of Steinbach on Sunday as Worship in the City helped wrap up a weekend of fun in the city.

The city-wide joint worship service took place in downtown Steinbach during Summer In The City.

The worship gathering started with CHVN's Made in Manitoba artist, Danny Plett, and Project Worship, leading the congregation in music.

All-Star Receiver and Canadian Football Hall of Famer, Milt Stegall, shared a message with the crowd how faith has fueled his success on and off the field, and how his life has been impacted by Christ.

Art Enns, Co-Chair for Worship In The City, says it was great to be downtown for the event. "The main stage area was packed, and it was pretty exciting!"

The main stage was open all day Sunday for Worship In The City, which was the first time the event was held downtown, and on the mainstage. Other local music

Other local music acts took to the stage throughout the day, including Island Breeze, and another CHVN Made in Manitoba artist, The Boy & The Sea. Juno and Covenant Award winner, Dan Bremnes, closed out the day with a concert.
