Christian artist Tauren Wells has teamed up with four-time Grammy winner H.E.R. to bring a new song to your speakers.
"This was hard to keep to myself...but y’all fiiiiiinally get to hear an incredible song by an incredible, once-in-a-generation artist, that I was HONORED to be a part of!!," Wells shared in a post on his Instagram.
Wells thanked H.E.R. for inviting him to work with her on their new song, "Hold Us Together (Hope Mix)."
A message of God's faithfulness in caring for his people, even when everything else fails, is shared through the song collab, which features a more ethereal, worship feel than the songs original recording by H.E.R.
The song opens with the declaration: "I will trust in You and know that You are with me forever /
I'll confide in You 'cause You're the only answer that matters."
"You're the keeper, protector / It is You that holds us together," the chorus reads.
The new release was applauded by other faith-based artists in the comments on Wells' post, including Tasha Cobbs and Jordan Feliz.
H.E.R. recently took home Song of the Year at the 2021 Grammy Awards for her song, "I Can't Breathe."
