The Color welcomes a new member

Made in Manitoba band The Color has welcomed a new member into the fold.

Lead singer Jordan Janzen and his wife Gwendolyn welcomed their first child, Lennyn Sofia Marie Janzen, on Thursday, January 18 at 10:57 p.m. The baby girl weighed 8 lbs and 1 oz and dad says mom and baby are doing great.

"Holding her for the first time was pretty surreal," Jordan says. "With all of that dark hair, she looked a lot like her mama, which was a wonderful thing. She is a precious gift that we have been praying for, for many years. It's been pretty awesome couple days getting to know her and spending time skin to skin."

Lennyn is the second girl born in 2018 to Made in Manitoba artists. Scribe and his wife Jasmine welcomed a daughter on New Year's Day.
