It seems as though April showers hit hard in some parts of the province when areas of Manitoba experienced an extreme storm early last week.

In Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation, Carina experienced her home shaking from the wind on April 26.

"It was really windy and rain was hitting hard. Then out of nowhere, the whole house was shaking," Carina shared in an online post.

"It happened so fast and the storm was gone after that," Carina says.

Instant Weather Manitoba called it "quite the noisy thunderstorm" that hit Sandy Bay Monday.
