Thérèse Morin
1930-2023
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear wife, mom, grandmother and great-grandmother, Thérèse Morin (née Bérard) on October 16,
2023 at the De Salaberry District Health Centre at the age of 92.  Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 66 years, Albert; her children, Pierre (Dianne) and Maxine (Alain); grandchildren, Sylvie (Fraser), Samuel (Courtney), Dominique (Alex), Richmond, Gabrielle (Jordan), and Frédéric; and great-grandchildren, Soleil, Lili, Trenton, Madeleine and Hayden. She also leaves to mourn her sister, Simone Turenne; brothers and sisters in-law, Marion Bérard, Jeanne Desrochers, Simone (Victor) Desaulniers, Liliane Morin, Madeleine (Jos) Lundrigan, Diana Laurin, Richard (Donna) Morin, and Raymond (Margaret) Morin.

She was predeceased by her parents Joséphat and Florence Bérard; her brothers, Roméo (Germaine), Roland (Marie), Joseph (Claire), and Paul; her sisters, Agathe
(Denis) Forest, Rita (Stan) Metelski, Bernadette (Ned) Martel, and Germaine; and brothers and sisters in-law, Paul Turenne, André Desrochers, Fabiola (Émile)
Desaulniers, Adrien (Simone) Morin, Lionel Morin, Irène (Albert) Poirier, Harvey Laurin, and Antonin (Ilaine) Morin.  We have peace knowing they are all together
playing cards and laughing.

Our Mom enjoyed life, traveling, volunteering, walking (lots of walking in the park), playing cards, and knitting. She was happiest when she was busy; spending
time at the lake with family, cooking, and keeping busy by knitting special sweaters and Christmas stockings. She was always excited to greet each new
addition to our family, whether it was a grandchild, great grandchild or one of their partners. We were so very lucky because she was always just a phone call
away to come to our rescue when needed.

She was small but feisty till the very end of her life. It is fitting that she spent her last months in the same place she spent so many years as a devoted nurse. The
love and care she bestowed; she got in return from the amazing staff at the DeSalaberry District Health Centre in St. Pierre-Jolys. We will be forever grateful
to the whole gang! There are too many wonderful souls to name, but we are so thankful for each and every one of you. The staff and HCA at the Chalet Malouin
in St. Malo deserve a big shout out as well.

A memorial service will take place at a later date. We will miss you immensely but we find comfort in knowing you are at peace.
