The Winnipeg Ice didn't seem to be on top of their game at yesterday's match in Washington, they lost 3-6.

Within the first 25 seconds of the opening period, Kyle Crnkovic from the opposing team scored a goal against the Ice. A minute later, Carson Latimer tied the game.

Later on in the first period, Seattle scored three goals in a span of 45 seconds from Jeremy Hanzel, Brad Lamber and Jared Davidson.

Once the second period arose, the Ice struggled to find their usual fire and the Thunderbird scored again thanks to Dylan Guenther and Hanzel. But Zach Benxon scored the Ice their second goal of the game.

In the third period, Ice coach James Patrick traded Daniel Hauser for Mason Beaupit in the net. Hauser made 16 saves over the first 40 minutes while Beaupit stopped all 11 shots he faced in the third period.

The Winnipeg Ice are in Seattle for a 9:00 p.m. face-off tonight against the Thunderbirds in Game Four of the WHL Championship Series presented by Nutrien.
