In a way to share Christ with children, Tim Tebow is releasing a new children's book called Bronco and Friends: A Party to Remember.

The book is about an animal party with the lead character based on Tebow's own dog, Bronco.

Tebow is well-known for being a two-time national champion, first-round NFL draft pick, and Heisman Trophy winner, playing for the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets. However, he's used his influence to reach others for the gospel and has been outspoken about his Christianity as well.

As a special needs advocate and positive role model, Tebow is encouraging children to embrace their unique qualities through his writing. The book has multiple characters with different characteristics such as a dog who wears glasses, a flightless bird, and a clumsy bunny.

While this is his first book, he grew up in a Christian home and reading was a way of life.

"Every night my mother would read to me stories that would inspire me to live for God," says Tebow in an interview with Christian Headlines

Along with starting a foundation, Tebow has long served the special needs community and even runs an annual program entitled A Night to Shine. This event is an opportunity where young people with special needs dress up for a night of fun and fellowship.

"We can and should be faithful to God and live out the purpose that He has designed. I’m grateful that God allows me to be on His team, not because of me but because of Him," says Tebow.
