With Christmas just under two weeks away, The Salvation Army has put out a call for help.

They are in immediate need of toys for children three years old and younger, as distribution continues during its annual Toy Mountain campaign.

Although The Salvation Army received more than 17,000 individual toys, it is becoming clear that there is still a great need for toys for infants and toddlers, as well as the 10 to 12 age group.

For those interested in helping, toys can still be brought to any fire or police station in the city, as well as Scotiabank locations in Winnipeg and Selkirk. Toys can also be brought directly to the distribution centre at 324 Logan Avenue.
