Transport Canada has issued a safety recall because of possible malfunctioning airbag systems.

7,143 vehicles will be affected by this recall. The makes and models are 2006-2010 Pontiac Solstice and 2007-2009 Saturn Sky. On certain vehicles, over time the passenger airbag suppression system may bend or break which could cause the airbag to not deploy when necessary. The airbag malfunction indicator light may appear to show that your vehicle is affected. There may also be a "service airbag" message displayed and there may be a warning chime.
