The passing of apologist Ravi Zacharias, founder and CEO of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM,) this past Monday has had its effect on people around the world. Tributes have been flooding in on the internet from people whose lives he touched.

In a Facebook post made before Zacharias passed away, Christian recording artist Lecrae shares his tribute to the late apologist, saying, “Because of Ravi Zacharias I had answers to hard questions. I used to find myself on tour rapping in front of thousands of people, leaving stage and coming back to my tour bus devouring his videos and lectures.”

Joyce Meyer Ministries shared a short video clip on Facebook of Zacharias during an interview with Joyce. Below were the words, “We honor this man of faith and the amazing impact he had on people around the world. He ran his race well and we are inspired by his life!”

Former American Quarter-back Tim Tebow had a personal relationship with the 74-year-old apologist. On the day of Ravi’s passing, Tebow tweeted, “To my friend, my mentor and a great hero of the faith, Ravi Zacharias — Thank you.”

Before he started Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM), Ravi was involved with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). Franklin Graham, son of the late Billy Graham and president of BGEA, shares his touching remarks on Facebook regarding the apologist. “Ravi Zacharias has stepped into the streets of glory and into the presence of the King of kings and Lord of lords. Don’t feel sorry for Ravi–his fight with cancer is over, and he has placed his crowns at the feet of the One who deserves all glory and honor.”

Louie Giglio, Pastor of Passion City Church in Atlanta, GA, knew Ravi personally. His touching tribute was short and to the point, posting on Instagram, “I join the thunderous applause of Heaven.”
