Two men charged in the fatal stabbing of a Winnipeg teenager while he was on the phone with 911 last year have pleaded guilty.

Ronald Bruce Chubb pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and Geordie Delmar James pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

Court heard they entered a home in a random home invasion while 17-year-old Jaime Adao Junior was upstairs with his grandmother.

His last moments were captured on a call with dispatchers when Chubb went upstairs and stabbed the teen before being shot and wounded by police.
