Southbound Pembina Highway at Dalhousie Drive has reopened after a serious collision Sunday evening.

The intersection was closed for several hours following the collision.

A nearby onlooker says at least seven police vehicles and fire trucks attended the scene and closed the area off to traffic.

Police had asked the public to avoid the area while they responded and investigated.

The intersection was reopened around 5 a.m.
