As technology changes, church has been changing along with it.

In some churches hymnals have been replaced by screens, and things like sermons, are now being live streamed.

VR church is taking church to the next level by using virtual reality as a way to gather, worship and learn together.

It’s a church that’s intended to be radically inclusive and consistent with Christianity's long history of adapting to new forms of media

DJ Sato began preaching in virtual reality in 2016, after leaving his role as a pastor at a branch of his local megachurch. Today he leads VR Church, along with a team.

One of those team members is Donna McTaggart. She has been a part of the VR Church for a few months now, leading a life group and occasionally teaching in the main service.

She says VR church has allowed her to find her faith again, as she finally has found a church where she is comfortable attending.

Everyone is invited to VR Church. It doesn't matter if you believe in God or not.

They gather every Sunday at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. EST in AltspaceVR.
