The Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) is thanking the public for their help in locating an 18-year-old who had an arrest warrant out in his name.

On November 8, 2022, 18-year-old Jayden Isreal Kennedy, wanted for robbery-related offences, was located at a residence in the first 100 block of Foxberry Bay. He was arrested on the strength of a warrant and turned over to the Major Crimes Unit. 

He remains in police custody.

Previously:

On November 2, 2022, at approximately 10:15 p.m., an 18-year-old male was robbed while waiting at a bus stop at Keewatin/Burrows. The victim was punched and slashed with a knife by an unknown male who demanded his property. He was treated for serious injuries to his upper body. The suspect fled on foot.

A second incident occurred on November 4, at roughly 6:45 p.m., a male in his 20’s was robbed while waiting at the same bus stop at Keewatin/Burrows. The victim was attacked with a knife, his property stolen, and the suspect fled on foot.

A warrant was sent out for Kennedy's arrest after the incidents.
