For King & Country's newest single and music video is a powerful reminder of the influence parents have on their children.

The Christian band is made up of two brothers, Luke and Joel Smallbone. They are also brothers to well-known Christian artist Rebecca St. James. The family was born and raised in Sydney, Australia before they came over to the U.S. to pursue their career in music.

"This is our tribute to every mum and dad, to the spiritual fathers and mothers and to those who’ve raised a child as their own.. we sing this song for you," says For King & Country on Facebook the day of the single's release.

The video has each brother's take on how their parents, David and Helen Smallbone, influenced them, from when they were born until now.

The single 'Unsung Hero' is the fourth song released on their upcoming album What Are We Waiting For? The release date on the album is March 11, 2022.
