Dr. Brent Roussin will be speaking at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, to provide information on what is expected to be a loosening of some restrictions in Manitoba.

The entire province has been under code red since November 12, with strict restrictions in place including the closing of many businesses, limiting gatherings to five people, and restricting gatherings in homes.

On Monday, Roussin said that the government would be taking a cautious approach to the reopening of the province, stressing they did not want to see "a yo-yo effect" that would result in closures coming once again.

When asked about what might be in store for worship gatherings, Roussin was non-commital, which left many to conclude that limits may not be changing at this time.

More to come.
