A worship leader from Winnipeg says he still can't believe that he had a duet with Michael Bublé.

But that's exactly what happened to Justyn Skubovius at the Canadian crooner's concert on Friday night at Bell MTS Place.

Skubovious said that he's a big lover of jazz and classical music. "And I'm 20-years-old, so there are not many people my age that do." That's why he decided to go to Bublé's concert alone. He said he bought floor tickets and arrived 90 minutes before the show started so he could get as close to the stage as possible. His early arrival worked and he ended up standing next to the stage.

"That's my ultimate goal, is giving glory to God in every chance I get"

Making small talk with others beside him as they waited for the concert to start led to the moment of a lifetime.

"I just said to them, 'What do you think it would take for me to sing with Michael?' and they said right away 'Oh, we know exactly what to do.'"

It turns out, the people next to Skubovious are super-fans of Bublé, and follow him from city to city and attend every single concert.

The super-fans took out some sharpies and made Skubovious a small sign simply saying, 'I want to sing.' He said they told him there would be a specific point in the show where he should hold the sign up and get Bublé's attention. They also gave him a tip, saying if Bublé asked what he wanted to sing to pick somebody else's song that Bublé would enjoy singing too.

The super-fans gave Skubovious the cue at the right time, and when Bublé asked what song he wanted to sing Skubovious suggested Frank Sinatra's 'My Way.' Bublé said it was a classic choice and the two began to sing.

Skubovious says Bublé was kind and put him at ease singing in front of such a large audience by putting his arm around him and joking around.

While an experience like that might be hard to follow up, Skubovious says he's just going to keep singing in church every week like usual.

"I always love singing, so I'm going to still be singing. And still leading worship in my church. That's my ultimate goal, right, is giving glory to God in every chance I get. I'm very thankful that I was given this opportunity."

Skubovious attends People's Full Gospel Church, which meets Sunday afternoons in Elim Chapel. He also volunteers at Elim Chapels youth group.
