While some businesses are closed on September 5 for Labour Day, others remain open to the public. 

Many malls will be open with limited holiday hours, including Kildonan Place, CF Polo Park, and Outlet Collection Winnipeg. However, Grant Park Mall, Garden City Mall, and St. Vital Mall will be closed on Monday. 

Winnipeg Transit will run on Sunday hours for those needing bus transportation. 

Winnipeg public libraries will be closed, as will indoor pools. However, select outdoor splash pads and city pools will be open to the public. A full list for the city of Winnipeg can be found here

Attractions

The Assiniboine Park Zoo will be open regular hours on Monday. 

The Winnipeg Art Gallery-Qaumajuq will be open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Manitoba Museum will also adopt those holiday hours. The Children's Museum will be open their regular hours, starting at 9:30 a.m.

Cineplex and Landmark Theatres are open regular hours. 

All Manitoba provincial parks have free park access for people going during the day. Anyone accessing a campground site will still be required to pay for the campsite.
